Mr. Lassan started his real estate career in the mid – 1970’s as a real estate investor.  He has purchased, rehabilitated, and sold over fifty pieces of personal rental property.  Many of these rehabilitation projects were financed by using government loans and grant programs to provide low income housing.  He managed approximately 100 units for several owners.  He obtained his Tennessee General Contractor’s license to handle his rehabilitation projects.  In 1989, Mr. Lassan joined American Property Management Company, a large regional management firm, and specialized in low income inner city housing.  He obtained much hands-on experience with the Section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation Program and also the Low Income Tax Credit Program.
